Browns Valley May 23 -- W.T. Williams, widely known resident of this vicinity died at 5 o'clock Sunday morning after an illness of four days of complications. He was born in Shelby County, KY Jan 1854, the son of Garland and Harriet Mitchell Williams. He married Sarah Rodman in December 1882. He moved to Crawfordsville where he resided two years and then moved to Browns Valley. He had lived here the past 40 years. A few hours after his death Sunday, a brother, Henry Williams died at his son's home in Crawfordsville. Deceased is survived by a brother, Samuel at Versailles, KY; a sister, Mattie Hinkle of Shelby Co KY and a number of nieces and nephews. A double funeral for the two brothers will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the Browns Valley Baptist Church Rev. George Leonard will officiate and interment will be at Indian Creek Cemetery. - kbz
